Perinatal Support for New & Expecting Parents
We are passionate about supporting people during pregnancy and through the postpartum season.
It is estimated that perinatal mood and anxiety disorders affect 15-20% of new mothers.
Concerns with anxiety and depression are common during pregnancy and the first 12 months of parenthood. If you’re experiencing this, don’t assume it’s “just the baby blues.”
There is no need to suffer alone. Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders are treatable with the right kind of support! We are trained in evidence-based therapy approaches that can help you. We are passionate about supporting parents through the perinatal period (from conception through the early parenting years). Our perinatal providers have completed training through Postpartum Support International and understand the unique needs that arise during pregnancy and postpartum.
We also use Gottman’s evidence-based and research-tested Bringing Baby Home program when working with couples to provide relationship and parenting support during this transition to parenthood.
The perinatal period can be a time filled with sadness, worry, irritability, loss, and stress.
Maybe you’re adjusting to your new identity as a parent. Maybe your relationship is struggling as you make this transition. Maybe you’re worried that you’re not attaching and bonding with your baby as you had hoped.
Maybe your pregnancy or parenting experience is not what you had expected. Maybe you’re worried about a high risk pregnancy, coping with losses, or experiencing challenges with fertility.
Whatever the reason, help is available.
