Trauma Therapy in Madison, WI
Trauma can occur at any age and it can have a lasting impact on many areas of your wellbeing.
If you or your child are struggling after a traumatic event, we want you to know that we are here to help you.
Traumatic experiences do not have to continue to have such a powerful influence on your ability to function and live your life. Perhaps you’ve tried to manage this on your own and you’ve found some tools to cope and adapt, yet something still doesn’t feel quite right.
We are trained to help you integrate and cope with these traumatic experiences.
Our therapists have a strong foundational understanding of the impact of trauma, how it’s felt in the body, and how to support your healing at a pace that is manageable for you.
Trauma specific therapeutic approaches used in session depend on the specific training your individual therapist has completed and may include Brainspotting (BSP), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), or Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
